The Access Sub-way and DAO Transactions

Jim Pilcher and M. L. "Sco" Scofield

Presentation One: The Access Sub-way by Jim Pilcher

Subforms in Microsoft Access are possibly the most effective way to represent one-to-many relationships to your users. DAAUG President, Jim Pilcher, will show you some of the standard practices and hidden surprises that are part of using Access subforms.

Our first presenter, James Pilcher, is a prominent Microsoft Access developer in the Colorado–Wyoming region, having worked with Access professionally since its inception in the early 1990s. Jim’s company, DataOne, Inc., maintains a broad clientele base providing database solutions for local enterprises and large international companies. A frequent presenter at DAAUG, Jim is currently serving his sixth term as President of your Denver Area Access Users Group.

Sco is also a frequent speaker at our group. He has been using Access since version 1.0.
