Volunteers Needed

The Denver Area Access Users Group is a non-profit organization of people who want to help each other succeed in learning Access and in using Access. Are you a member who contributes to the group, or do you just pay your dues and wait for someone to help you? Do you make suggestions of what "someone" should do to make the group better, or do you step forward to do it for the better of the Users Group?

How can you help? Write an article about some helpful tip you learned to solve a problem, or about a book that was useful, or a product that you liked. Help check in members and guests at a meeting. Help staple and stamp newsletters to go in the mail. If you are an intermediate or advanced Access user/developer, volunteer to speak at a meeting. Show up at the Lab ready to help someone less experienced with a problem. Let us know about a publication that will announce our meetings each month. Start a special interest group within the Users Group. Think of topics for future meetings, and help us find a qualified speaker. Volunteer to bring your laptop for the speaker to use at a meeting. Call people whose membership has expired, and help us find out why they didn't renew.

There's so much you can do to help the group do more for you!

Would you like to volunteer to make a presentation? Please e-mail and let us know.
