Simple Approaches to Building Dashboards into Your Applications

David Nealey

Access allows developers to create dashboards that give database users greater insight into their data. Functionality built into Access allows developers to create the same look and feel that they get using expensive third-party programs. This presentation will describe how a customized Access application was built using colored text boxes and a set of gauges to help students prepare for a national test.

Our presenter, David Nealey, owns WordSmart Business Services, a local small business. He has developed Access applications for proposal development, project management, membership management, software requirements analysis, and test preparation. David also serves as Vice President of Marketing for a GIS consulting company in Parker where uses his applications to pursue new business and efficiently perform projects.
