Your clients most likely have Office on their desktop. Have they asked you how to get information from their database into a Word or Excel document? Specifically into the task pane along side their document. The mystery will be exposed. It is easy using the Office Research Pane SDK, and Visual Studio Tool for Office 2005, but can also be done using VB6 implementing the ISmartDocument interface.
